New Website Launches to Tackle the Question of the Missing 18-30s Generation

A new website which seeks to play a part in addressing the lack of 18-30 year olds in Baptist churches has been launched

New website launches to tackle
The Missing Generation website is the initiative of the Younger Leaders Forum (YLF) of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

The YLF says the website will create awareness of the lack of 18-30 year olds in Baptist churches.

From the awareness it wants to create discussion and networking across the UK 'to bring a greater voice and understanding of the situation, to then feedback into the Baptist Union Council and consequently to result in action in our local church.'

YLF is a group of diverse young leaders from Baptist churches nationwide between the ages of 18 - 30 which meets bi-annually.

Its overall goal is to 'engage with this generation in and out of our churches so that we may better inform the Baptist Union on how to encourage and grow them in our churches, to then develop a closer network amongst the churches with the goal to see stronger and empowered church and more coming to know Christ.'

The YLF is also hosting a flagship event on October 13 to look in detail at the missing generation, and what we can be doing to engage with them. All details on the website: www.missinggeneration.com
