Nominations for the President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain

Nominations were sought for the President of the Baptist Union 2025-26 during the Autumn of 2023.  Emails were sent out widely inviting nominations in September, with reminder notices regularly after that. 
 
By the deadline of 31 December 2023, no nominations had been received.
 
The Core Leadership Team prayerfully considered the situation and proposed a fallow year to Council for 2025-2026, a proposal supported by Trustees. The alternative was for Council to nominate a candidate.
 
Council members voted to support the proposal for a fallow year.

This means there will be no President in the year 2025-26.
