Losing sight, gaining vision

Being blinded in a gang fight has led Bittu to plant over 50 churches, working with BMS World Mission worker Ben Francis in India

You would not have wanted to meet Bittu five years ago.

Bittu was the kind of person that you would avoid. If he showed up at your home, you were in trouble. Bittu’s job was to force you to sell your land by any means necessary.

Today, quite unbelievably, Bittu is an evangelist in Punjab state working with BMS Associate Team Leader for India Ben Francis. He has planted over 50 churches. How did this miraculous turn of events come about? Ben shares the story in this inspiring video.

Through your giving to BMS, you are supporting the life-changing ministry that Ben Francis and church planters like Bittu are involved in India, impacting thousands of people. Pray that this work will continue to flourish and more will come to hear the good news about Jesus.

Want to be part of lives transformed by God’s love in India and around the world? Give today.
